sunshine adult day care activities center

We are licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities Services, and is one of the LARGEST in Texas. Currently we are serving 200+ elderly and disable people.  

Free transportation is provided and can be arranged with our bus routes.  Our center also offers free transportation to doctor clinics, banks, hair salons, and supermarkets.  Our commercial kitchen is staffed with professional chefs and assistants to provide free nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack from Monday to Friday.

Our center has many activities and amenities, including but not limited to exercise equipments, aerobic exercise class, Karaoke, Bingo, Mahjong, Tu Sac, table tennis, Chinese Chess, Checkers, Dominos, Art and Craft classes, pool table, rest area, Daily Newspaper, line dances, group singing, English as a Second Language class, TV and movies, monthly birthday parties, stage performances, and others.

SUNSHINE HOME HEALTH CARE

This program is to promote independent living in the comfort of their home and hence delaying the time to nursing home. There are many advantages that include but not limited to:

  • Home health care costs are significantly less than the institutional costs;
  • Patients feel more comfortable in their own homes;
  • Patients enjoy personal independence at home with family members involved;
  • Patient, family and friends are together in the home setting during difficult times;
  • Family members are able to continue working without working about their ill-family member(s) at home by themselves;
  • Individuals who live alone are greatly benefited from the provider assistance services since they get help with their daily living needs that include: bathing, dressing, exercising, cleaning, feeding, grooming, laundry, toileting, transfer/ambulation, routine hair/skin care, meal preparation, escort, shopping, assistance with self-administered medications, etc...

We offer caring and compassionate home heath care and provider assistance services focusing on each individual's plan of care.  Our professional team, social worker, Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and home health aids are trained, knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated to their job in serving the patients.
